Craft Fair

Every year at FCHS, there's a craft fair. This year there were over 70 vendors. Jewelry, hats, piggy banks, baked goods, natural healing remedies, scrap booking, bows, peanuts, raffle tickets, and more!

My dad's the booster president, and here you see him charming the ladies as usual. Way to go, Dad! One of my dad's specialties is the 50/50 raffle. You buy a ticket for a dollar, and if your number is pulled, you get half of whatever was raised. So when my dad got home he called the winner and said "you've won! It's 16 dollars!" I mean, that's not a lot but hey, I'd take it!

Every year there is SO much chili and this year was no exception. So what did we do? We ate it of course. I've never been to a chili competition, but I had such a hard time choosing which one I wanted to eat.

Yum, yum, yum. We helped deliver food to the vendors who ordered some (We = Julia, Reece, Heather, and I. Although I won't take credit, they did a lot more work than I did) Not pictured is a very excited asian girl holding up a sign that said "Peanuts" pointing to the orchestra booth. Man, do I miss those days... not really.

I bought a keychain and some magnets from a boy I went to high school with. He has muscular dystrophy but is able to draw. So now I got rid of the stupid key chain I had that said "If a woman's place is in the house, why am I always in the car?" haha. that one was already on it when I bought my car.
