Meet Richard. On my lunch break today I saw him in the middle of the road holding this sign. I walked over, introduced myself, and we got to talking. I asked him why he was holding the sign, assuming it was to spread cheer (as you all know, I can be very naive) and he said "because it's illegal to ask for money." I was actually surprised because I didn't know that. Anyways, him and a few of his buddies were hanging out holding up these signs that said Have a Nice day and Smile, it's good for you. I'd never seen that before.
Also, Zarina, Shannon and I went into this antique shop with a TON of furniture. Mom, you would
love walking around in there.

Annie, if you run into 'Smile it's good for you' guy again here's one to share that comes off the board at LL Bean: 'Laughter is inner jogging!" That's a good one to spread around. Keep up the good work--we're proud of you!!
