Rhodes
Sam and Michelle Rhodes are childhood friends and last night, Julia and I got together with them. (Michelle's my age, Sam's Julia's age)... Well, while me and Michelle were catching up enjoying a nice fire, we heard Sam and Julia playing guitar. Sooooo, this is what happened. (see video)
You two should definitely go on the road.
Yeah yeah yeah.

The usual.
The usual Thanksgiving in Pennsylvania:
1. Play guitar with grandpa. The standard repertoire: You Are My Sunshine, Old Rugged Cross, Jingle Bells, Silent Night, and Old Darn Mule.
2.Let Dad and Uncle Jim tell riddles and do card tricks. Humor them by letting them tell the same joke they did last year.
3.Walk around the block.
4. Nap
5. Go to Sheetz on the way home and buy enough chips to last a month. Also, watch a movie. (This year was Kung Fu Panda. much better than I thought it would be. Good job, Keith)
Happy Thanksgiving! As I'm growing up and actually becoming friends with my relatives instead of just "this is my cousin" or "Hi grandpa", I've become truly grateful for them in my life. The little things like telling jokes, eating at a fold out table, and playing guitar with grandpa really mean a lot more to me now than it did when I was younger.

Eat lots of turkey and hug people
I am thankful for:
1. Harmonicas and Maracas/Egg-shakers. So simple, yet so satisfying.
2. Youtube and Blogger. Thanks for giving me an online life. So pathetic, yet so pleasurable!
3. Toby (dog) and Flapjack (bunny). For giving me a friend when I'm home alone. So loseresque, yet so lovable!
4. Redbox. Entertainment that fits the budget!
5. Phone ringtones. For spontaneous bursts of joy.
6. Wool socks. For toasty toes. We should give them to everyone. I am serious. (See me for more details)
7. Car trunks. What a good idea!
In all seriousness (the above is serious, but this is a more serious serious), God has been richly blessed beyond measure with a wonderful family, dependable friends, and many pathways available for the taking in my life. It's kind of annoying that the only time I really stop to think about it is on Thanksgiving. I will work on that.
Lastly, I'm thankful for you, person who reads my blog. Without you I would truly be a loser...blogging...to myself...
